![]() Several are illustrated throughout the book. The SIMPL toolkit, along with tokenized messaging and the SIMPL testing framework is shown to be a great way to build these softwareICs. The term softwareIC is coined to describe the software equivalent of the integrated circuit. The current state of software development is compared to the hardware world before the advent of integrated circuit chips. SIMPL is also a great way to design software applications where complexity is encapsulated in separate, easily testable, readily extendable modules. Over the years this project has accumulated an extensive body of sample code and extensions. On another level, SIMPL is an active open source project which began over a decade ago. At its most fundamental, SIMPL is a set of library functions which allow the passing of encapsulated messages between cooperating processes. We will discuss the internal working of () statement in the coming section.SIMPL (Synchronous Interprocess Messaging Project for Linux) is discussed at many different levels. Here, System is a class, out is an object of the PrintStream class, println() is a method of the PrintStream class. String args or String args is used for command line argument.main represents the starting point of the program.void is the return type of the method. The main() method is executed by the JVM, so it doesn't require creating an object to invoke the main() method. The core advantage of the static method is that there is no need to create an object to invoke the static method. If we declare any method as static, it is known as the static method. public keyword is an access modifier that represents visibility.class keyword is used to declare a class in Java.Let's see what is the meaning of class, public, static, void, main, String, (). When we compile Java program using javac tool, the Java compiler converts the source code into byte code. ![]()
